I am officially in recovery from my gender-affirming surgery, and looking at these photos taken by the super cool and talented @felixjr1 is already getting me amped up for when I am all healed and ready to get back out there. This was a really rewarding project and I’m really grateful for the help I had (@beansf415 was a savior and he’s another great neighborhood artist) and grateful for @tlcbd and @studiohunterfranks for organizing and including me. And to @ridespin for sponsoring the project. I’m hoping to do more projects like these. Once I emerge from my top surgery cocoon, get ready cause there’s going to be flowers everywhere 🙃

Remember that design you all voted for toward the end of last year? I’m excited to say that it’s finally done! And wow, what a project. This was by far the most difficult job in terms of moving parts and coordination. Also in execution let’s be honest. But I was really lucky to have the support of everyone at Alliance Health. These folks are so kind and they did everything they could to make this happen and help problem solve. It was a pleasure working with them and seeing first hand how hard they work daily to serve the community. Also, literally could not have done this without @ladyhenze because she not only encouraged me to apply for this project but she literally kept this project on track time wise and drove me to work every day and made the best scaffolding work playlist ever. Also, @calamityfair came in at the 11th hour to save me from despair and made it so that I finished exactly on time. It was a group effort and I’m just really thankful for the opportunity and I hope you all like this beautiful queer garden I made for you ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
